Join Dance/USA on Wednesday May 22 at 1:00pm ET /12:00pm CT / 11:00am MT / 10:00am PT for an enlightening webinar as we delve into the pivotal topic of nurturing authentic connections between artists, presenters and funders. In More Than a Checked Box: Unpacking Identity-Driven Funding and Presenting Methodologies, we will explore unconscious biases that can lead to presenters’ and funders’ unintentional or subliminal perceptions of various demographics, that result in the exclusion of particular groups.

About the webinar: Cost: $10. All are welcome. An active Dance/USA membership is not required to attend. ASL interpretation and closed captioning will be provided. This webinar will not be recorded for playback. Learn more and register by May 20!

Advocacy Office Hours are regular opportunities to meet Bertrand Evans-Taylor, Dance/USA’s Interim Director of Government Affairs, to learn what is happening on Capitol Hill, discuss federal, state, and local advocacy opportunities, ask questions, seek guidance, and more.
