Leadership Training Seminar Highlights
Leadership Training Seminar
The 2013 Institute for Leadership Training Seminar took place on Wednesday, June 12, and marked the beginning of the Institute for Leadership Training, which will continue through the fall and winter months. These 24 individuals were selected via a competitive application process to participate in the program, and enjoy their first face-to-face meetings with their matches during the Leadership Training Seminar, held during the Dance/USA Annual Conference.
The Institute for Leadership Training Seminar is designed to orient the current year's participants to the mentorship journey, and explore the common challenges faced among the emerging and established leaders in our field as peers and professionals. Each match earns time to plan out the specifics of the upcoming mentorship via goal-setting and time management exerices. The group as a whole gains the opportunity to build an intimate network of special Dance/USA colleagues who may act as resources and confidants through the upcoming year and beyond as they approach new landmarks in their careers and within their individual organizations.
