Kourtney Ginn (she/her) is a native of Winchester, VA. She graduated cum laude from Bucknell University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Dance and holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
Her career in the dance field has been multifaceted including administrative, performance, and faculty positions in dance organizations, schools, and community groups throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Kourtney has performed with Beth Elliott Dance Group, Dancethos, darlingdance, DC Contemporary Dance Theater, Dustyn Martincich, Heart Stück Bernie, Karen Reedy Dance, NetCo Dance Company, MotionX Dance DC, Therese Gahl, and Washington Reflections Dance Company. She also performed as a guest artist with Company E which included tours to Kazakhstan and Cuba in 2016.
Administratively, she has worked for the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, Dance/USA, and The Washington Ballet. From 2011-2017, Kourtney held multiple roles at Dance/USA including Government Affairs Intern, Membership Associate, Development Associate, and Director of Programs.
Currently, Kourtney works part-time for Dance/USA as the Grants Manager for the BIPOC Female Choreographers in Ballet Initiative.
