Dance/USA Classified Listings – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of the Dance/USA Classified Listings platform (“Classifieds”), a service provided by Dance/USA (“Dance/USA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By posting, browsing, or responding to listings on this platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Platform

The Dance/USA Classified Listings platform is a venue for third parties to post listings for dance-related goods, costumes, props, and other items

Dance/USA acts solely as a passive publisher of listings and does not participate in, control, or guarantee any transaction between users.

Dance/USA does not:

• Verify the accuracy of listings
• Endorse or recommend any listing, seller, buyer, or service provider
• Participate in negotiations or agreements between users
• Process payments or handle the delivery of goods or services

All transactions occur directly between the parties involved, and users assume full responsibility for evaluating listings and entering into agreements.

2. Limitation of Service Provider Liability

Dance/USA is not a party to any transaction that may occur as a result of a listing.

Dance/USA is not responsible or liable for:

• The quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of any item or service listed
• The accuracy or completeness of listing descriptions
• The ability of sellers to provide goods or services
• The ability of buyers to complete payment
• Delivery, fulfillment, refunds, exchanges, or disputes between parties

Users acknowledge that any purchase, sale, or engagement made through a listing is undertaken at their own risk.

Dance/USA’s role is limited to providing a venue for posting listings, and it assumes no responsibility for the outcomes of interactions between users.

3. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• Conducting their own due diligence before entering into transactions
• Confirming the identity and credibility of the other party
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Negotiating and fulfilling the terms of any agreement

Dance/USA encourages users to exercise caution and good judgment when interacting with others through the platform.

4. Listing Content

By submitting a listing, the user represents and warrants that:

• The content is accurate and not misleading
• The user has the legal right to offer the item, service, or opportunity described
• The listing does not violate any laws or third-party rights, such as intellectual property, anti-discrimination, and consumer protection laws. 

Dance/USA reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, refuse, or remove listings at its sole discretion.

5. No Endorsement

The appearance of any listing on the platform does not constitute endorsement, approval, or recommendation by Dance/USA.

References to products, services, organizations, or individuals are provided solely as submitted by users.

6. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dance/USA, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

• User listings
• User transactions
• Violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

7. Modifications

Dance/USA reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Classified Listings platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
