FromĀ June 14-16, 2021 Dance/USA once again hosted a Virtual Conference to safely convene as a community amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 Virtual Conference included three days of live-streamed webinars, movement classes, networking opportunities, and more. Post-Conference events included Dance Business Bootcamp and the Archiving and Preservation workshop, concluding the overall programming.

Opening Keynote

The Dance/USA 2021 Virtual Conference Keynote session took place on Monday, June 14. Award-winning author, journalist, and professor of journalism Dr. Jelani Cobb was the Keynote Speaker.

Virtual Sessions

Conference programming was shaped around topics of equity and justice, community and collaboration, responding to COVID-19, and preservation and legacy in the field of dance, to name a few. Browse the list of sessions.
