From June 14-16, 2021 Dance/USA once again hosted a Virtual Conference to safely convene as a community amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 Virtual Conference included three days of live-streamed webinars, movement classes, networking opportunities, and more. Post-Conference events included Dance Business Bootcamp and the Archiving and Preservation workshop, concluding the overall programming.
The Dance/USA 2021 Virtual Conference Keynote session took place on Monday, June 14. Award-winning author, journalist, and professor of journalism Dr. Jelani Cobb was the Keynote Speaker.
Conference programming was shaped around topics of equity and justice, community and collaboration, responding to COVID-19, and preservation and legacy in the field of dance, to name a few. Browse the list of sessions.
