Artists can sign up for coaching
with one of three people. These 30-minute sessions are designed to provide
applicants who are newer to applying for funding with the guidance to write an

Anne Huang, a consultant in culturally specific capacity building and development director at World Arts West, which produces the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival.
Suzanne Callahan, DFA program director, and founder of Callahan Consulting for the Arts, which provides philanthropic counsel, evaluation and research, and resource development.
This coaching is intended to increase applicants' skills at submitting LOIs but does not guarantee funding by DFA. Applicants must read the guidelines before their session.

Coaching sessions are only offered until November 12. After that time, appllicants can still email or call with general questions, but will not receive half-hour coaching sessions.
