The Research Fellow will work with Dance/USA’s Research Department on national field research and ongoing annual member research. The Director of Research & Information Services will work with the Fellow to construct a unique research project on a topic of interest to the Fellow that also advances Dance/USA's current research focus areas.
This opportunity will connect the Fellow to the national dance community, raise her/his awareness of dance in America and field-wide trends, and provide her/him with practical work experience. The dates of the Fellowship are negotiable, with the Fellow working a total of approximately 210 hours over the Fellowship period.
The Research Fellow will receive a stipend of $1500 to be evenly divided over the course of the Fellowship. In addition, the Fellow will receive a two-year complimentary Dance/USA individual or student membership.
