Vicki has over 25 years experience in nonprofit arts management. For 16 years she was director of development at the Washington Performing Arts Society (WPAS). In that role she worked with senior staff and the Board of Directors to develop artistic programs, educational initiatives, and fundraising strategies in support of WPAS’ mission to make the performing arts accessible to the broadest possible audience. Vicki was responsible for designing and managing a comprehensive campaign to raise contributed income for WPAS’ annual fund and endowment. Prior to becoming director of development, Vicki directed WPAS’ corporate campaign, worked with the Dance Program, and managed the Handel Festival Orchestra.
Vicki came to Dance/USA in October 2006 as the organization’s first director of development. Her responsibilities include managing a program for individual donors, increasing sponsorships for the Annual Conference, and securing funding for Dance/USA’s programming initiatives.
Vicki has a BS in political science from The American University and an MPA from the University of Arkansas.
