Amidst many discussions about sustaining the dance field, attendess took a break to network with the future of the field: emerging leaders.  This informal event will give you the opportunity to interact and connect with other emerging dance professionals from around the nation and to view a new dance film by The Michele Brangwen Dance Ensemble.

This event was hosted by The Michele Brangwen Dance Ensemble (MBDE), a contemporary dance company that specializes in commissioning new music for dance and incorporating musicians into the visual imagery. Sharing the stage and the focus, their dancers and musicians break the boundaries of traditional ensemble interaction. MBDE presented the premiere of their latest dance film created in collaboration with the Norrbotten Big Band, an innovative jazz ensemble based in Sweden. The film is about 13 minutes long.
