This presentation will include an insurance industry overview (companies, agents and brokers), information on standard coverages (including general liability, property, directors and officers, workers compensation, umbrella, international liability), how health insurance fits into the equation, and what not to do when you renew your policies. Robert B. Middleton is the director of the Insurance Program for the Performing Arts, a division of Maury Donnelly & Parr, Inc. One-on-one consultations are available with Mr. Middleton Friday and Saturday afternoon, see below for details.

Career Transitions for Dancers
Friday, June 15, 3:30 - 4:00pm Managers (All) and Artists (All) Cross-Council session
This past December a group was assembled by Career Transition for Dancers to study the current state of dancer career transition programs in the U.S. Out of these discussions grew a desire to partner with Dance/USA, in areas where Dance/USA might be better positioned to take the lead on career transition issues. Presented by Matthew Keefe, choreographer and dancer and James Nelson, general manager of Houston Ballet.

Taskforce on Dancer Health
Saturday, June 16, 2:45 – 3:15pm Managers (All) and Artists (All) Cross-Council session
With a streamlined and shortened screen, there will soon be a "package" available to aid the increasing number of companies doing the Taskforce Screen next season. This important work will be discussed in depth with Richard Gibbs, MD, Chair of the Dance/USA Taskforce on Dancer Health and the Supervising Physician at the San Francisco Ballet.
