Leslie Malmed, executive director, joined the Company in 2008. She comes to Flamenco Vivo from World Music Institute where for over nine years she handled all administrative aspects from box office, membership and tech to touring, arts education and booking.  Malmed has independently collaborated on projects for National Geographic, The Edison Music Group and the World Foundation for Music and Healing. She is a graduate of NYU's Gallatin School and is the co-founder Mamadêlê Productions.
