Ginn, a native of Winchester, VA, graduated cum laude from Bucknell University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Dance. She choreographed three original works and performed pieces by Salim Gauwloos, Tara Madsen, Matthew Neenan, John Lehrer, Er-Dong Hu, Kelly Knox, and Dustyn Martincich during her four years of performing with the Bucknell Dance Company. Ginn has taught dance at American Dance Institute, Adventure-Theatre MTC, John Kerr Elementary School, Lewisburg Arts Festival, Move This World, and Vostrikov’s Academy of Ballet. Since graduating, she has performed with Beth Elliot Dance Group, Company E, DC Contemporary Dance Theater, Karen Reedy Dance, NetCo Dance Company, and Washington Reflections Dance Company.
Ginn first joined Dance/USA in 2011 as a government affairs intern and then returned in 2012 as a temporary membership associate. She then spent time working in the philanthropic sector as a field assistant at the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy. In January 2014, she re-joined Dance/USA as development associate. In September 2016, Ginn transitioned into her current role as director of programs. In addition to her work at Dance/USA, she currently performs with Dancethos and Metropolitan Ballet Theater Ensemble, and as a guest artist with Company E which included travelling with the company on tour to Kazakhstan in July 2016. Ginn also teaches modern and ballet for the Youth Dance Ensemble at Joy of Motion.
