Arts Advocacy Day

Each year Dance/USA is one of more than 50 cosponsors of Arts Advocacy Day. Arts Advocacy Day is a national advocacy and grassroots campaign, organized by Americans for the Arts and in conjunction with the Congressional Arts Caucus, in support of federal funding for the arts and arts education in America. Cosponsors represent thousands of arts, cultural, business, civic and educational groups and individuals across the nation.

Arts Advocacy Day is an opportunity for grassroots advocates to shape federal policy and to educate newly elected officials about arts issues early in their congressional careers. Registrants of Arts Advocacy Day receive advocacy training, top-level briefings on trends and research impacting the arts and arts education, as well as advance copies of the Congressional Arts Handbook.
