All members of Dance/USA have the benefit of participating in a
members-only Google Group to connect with colleagues. Dance/USA encourages members to post frequently to these private Google Group email lists to share best practices, have questions answered quickly, and discuss timely issues. Which Dance/USA Google Group Best Describes You?
Agent/Artists Representatives: To connect Dance/USA member agents/artist representatives to one another, fostering greater communication. Stay abreast of issues, strategies, and trends related to touring dance throughout the United States and internationally.
Service Organizations: To connect Dance/USA member service organizations to one another, fostering greater communication. Share best practices and program ideas, address challenges, create joint programming opportunities, and to network with colleagues from across the country.
Presenters: To connect presenter members of Dance/USA to one another, fostering greater communication and seek solutions to issues affecting the presentation and touring of dance in the United States and abroad.
Dance Company Managers/Executive Directors: To connect member dance managers/executive directors of Dance/USA to one another, building upon your national network. We encourage you to post questions, seek advice on challenges, and share ideas on such topics as member benefits, fundraising strategies, board and staff development, etc.
Dance Company Artistic Directors: To connect artistic directors from Dance/USA member companies to one another, fostering greater communication. We encourage you to post questions, seek advice on challenges, and share ideas.
Marketing Staff at Member Organizations: This Google Group is for marketing staff at member organizations to connect with one another, building upon your national network. We encourage you to post questions relevant to marketing and the dance field as well as share ideas and your organization's success stories.
Development Staff at Member Organizations: This Google Group is for development staff at member organizations to connect with one another, building upon your national network. We encourage you to post questions relevant to development, fundraising, and the
dance field as well as share ideas and your organization's success
stories.
Education Affiliate: For Dance/USA dance educators to exchange and discuss ideas regarding academic dance and dance education. Members are encouraged to ask questions, seek advice, and share their challenges and successes with their national network of peers.
Independent Artists/Choreographers: To connect independent artist and choreographer members of Dance/USA to one another, building upon your national network. This group is not intended to promote upcoming performances or workshops, but rather it's your platform to discuss issues and solutions pertinent to your career.
Professional Dancers: Use this Google Group to keep in touch with other professional dancer members around the country; share information or seek advice about performances, touring, management issues, health care, auditions, and more!
Students: This Google Group is a benefit for student members of Dance/USA to stay connected with one another-building upon your national network. Share information and seek guidance about auditions, conferences, research, choreography, guest artists, and much more.

Dance Advocacy Network: In addition to joining any of the above Google Groups, you may also opt to participate in the Dance Advocacy Network. The Dance Advocacy Network is a grassroots network of dance advocates
across America. All Dance/USA members are encouraged to participate in
the Dance Advocacy Network to increase the sharing of advocacy
information, develop tools and resources available for effective
dance advocacy, and inspire other citizens to advocate for this
