Dance/USA Membership Information
Dance/USA memberships are renewable annually. Dues are invoiced at the end
of the prior fiscal year (June). All members have the first quarter to pay
dues in full or establish a written payment plan with Dance/USA.To become
an individual or affiliate member of Dance/USA, simply request an application,
and return it with payment. You will be added to our database and begin
receiving materials immediately. To become a dance company, dance service
organization, or dance presenter member, request and return an application.
Upon Board approval you will become a member. Email
Dance/USA with your postal address and the type of application you wish
to receive.

FY 2003 dues are calculated based on FY 2002 operating revenue and
are as follows:

FY02 Operating Revenue up to $100,000 pay $150

FY02 Operating Revenue $100,001 - $200,000 pay $225

FY02 Operating Reveneu $200,001 - $400,000 pay $400
- FY02 Operating Revenue $400,001 - $600,000 pay $750
- FY02 Operating Revenue between $600,001 and $999,999 pay dues using
the following formula:
FY03 Dues = FY02 Operating Revenue x .00173
- FY02 Operating Revenue between $1,000,000 and $2,999,999 pay dues
using the following formula:
FY03 Dues = FY02 Operating Revenue x .00185
- FY02 Operating Revenue between $3,000,001 and $7,999,999 pay dues
using the following formula:
FY03 Dues = $3,750 + (FY02 Operating Revenue x .00045) to
a maximum payment of $8,100)
- FY02 Operating Revenue exceeding $8,000,000 pay dues of $8,400

- Total Artists Fees $100,001–$250,000 = $400

FY02 Service Organizations dues:
Dance Service Organizations
pay annual dues of $350
This category of membership is available to dance companies and dance-related
institutions based in countries other than the United States. International
members receive one copy of all publications and mailings, access to
appropriate council meetings, and registration discounts for the biennial
National Roundtable.
Dues for International Affiliates are based on budget size (in U.S.
dollars), with smaller organizations given lower rates based on the
"small companies" above:
Up to $500,000 budget = $350
$500,001 - $1,000,000 budget = $600
$1,000,000 and higher budget = $1,000

Individual members pay annual dues of $100
Leadership Circle Member Benefits for Individual Member
Leadership Circle Members give gifts of $250 or more in special
support of Dance/USA's many activities and services. In addition to
the benefits individual members receive leadership circle members are
given special recognition in Dance/USA publications.
