Amelia Rudolph, Council Chair-Managers

Amelia Rudolph is a choreographer, dancer/athlete, public speaker, and educator.  She founded Project Bandaloop in 1991, bringing together dance, climbing, and varied off-the-ground movement through site-specific work on cliffs, buildings, and in theaters.  Rudolph holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in comparative religion from Swarthmore College and the Graduate Theological Union.  She has been named an Irvine Fellow, is a multi-year recipient from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and has been awarded over 30 major grants and commissions, including, most recently, a commission from the Arts Partners in Creative Development in Canada as part of the Cultural Olympiad and Center for Cultural Innovation.  Her work has been presented in 12 countries and across North America, most often in non-traditional performance settings and free to the public.
