This year holds much promise for Dance/USA. We kicked off our 25th Anniversary in June at our 2007 Spring Council in Chicago and will conclude the celebration at the National Performing Arts Convention and Dance/USA Roundtable in Denver, June 10-14, 2008, where we will host a special Honors ceremony. During our 25th year, we will publish two special issues of the Dance/USA Journal that explore the evolution of Dance/USA and look toward the next 25 years for the organization and the field of dance. We invite you to join us in celebrating Dance/USA’s 25th Anniversary. Below are some ideas about how your organization can participate in the anniversary action:

• Include the Dance/USA 25th Anniversary logo in your programs, on your website, and other appropriate publications (contact Ann Norris for logo details);
• Dedicate a performance, season or workshop to Dance/USA in honor of our 25th Anniversary;
• Include information about Dance/USA and our role in your dance community in newsletters and e-news;
• Offer a portion of your curtain speech as a highlight of your involvement and membership with the national service organization for professional dance.
