At the Dance/USA 2009 conference in Houston, Texas, members participated in grassroots advocacy sessions to generate simple yet powerful ways to advocate for dance. They collectively developed three action ideas: peer-to-peer conversations, audiences as ambassadors, and dancers as advocates. Each action idea includes goals, commitments, and action steps that can easily be added to any dance effort or program throughout the country.
