Dance/USA and the Chicago Host Committee are deeply grateful to the following Chicago funders for their support of activities associated with Dance/USA’s 2011 Annual Conference: The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation for supporting scholarships to enable Chicago-based dance professionals to attend the Conference and “Spotlight on Chicago,” a pre-Conference initiative to increase visibility for Chicago dance in Chicago; The Chicago Community Trust for being the lead funder of the Chicago Performance Showcases; the Alphawood Foundation for supporting the 2011 Dance/USA Honors Celebration, and The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation for supporting scholarships to enable Chicago-based dance professionals to attend the Conference.
