The Access Dance/USA scholarship program provides funding for dance administrators and artists to attend a Dance/USA Annual Conference. These scholarships are intended to cover the costs of registration, transportation, hotel, and dining expenses incurred during an Annual Conference. Recipients also receive a stipend toward a one-year Dance/USA membership. Prior to the conference, recipients are assigned mentors to help them meet colleagues and navigate the many sessions and activities during a Dance/USA convening. The scholarship eligibility requirements and the award amount may vary from year to year.

Funding for these scholarships is made possible by Dance/NYC, a Dance/USA branch office serving the needs of the New York City dance community, through a generous grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

*Full Access Dance/USA scholarships are intended for first time conference attendees, and will cover the cost of registration, transportation, up to four nights of hotel (in shared accommodations), meals, and up to $100 to put toward a one-year Dance/USA membership.

**Partial Access Dance/USA scholarships are intended for Dance/USA members in good standing who are past scholarship recipients or those who have attended a Dance/USA convening in the past. Partial scholarships will cover the cost of registration, a travel stipend, and up to four nights of shared accommodations on the George Washington University campus.
